Learning to network

Sad what makes me happy

Filed under: LinkedIn — Arthur M. Gallagher @ 3:12 pm

Oooh blimey, I’ve just realised – I can make my problic profile have a more friendly name

My Profile / Public Profile URL / [Edit]

So now it has become…

Hmmm, I’m starting to wonder if I can handle all the publicity I’ll start getting (in my dreams ;-) )

Actually, I’ll be honest, that I have been a bit bashful so far, and almost proud of the fact that googling for “Arthur M. Gallagher” turned up no results. I guess that I must learn to get over this shyness if I am going to make internet-based networking work for me.

  1. Well, well, well. Shows you how little I actually know about my public internet profile – google actually returns two responses for “Arthur M. Gallagher”. Apart from a coincidental match from a geneologist’s report(when James Arthur Chaseling married a Gallagher) I do get a direct hit because I registered goSBC with IANA to get an Enterprise Number for SNMP traps. Now that is REALLY sad, as claims to fame go.
